I'm many things, but fundamentally, I'm a writer.

By day, I document metrology software and otherwise causing mayhem in the Japanese-American economic community. By night, I switch to writing speculative fiction (despite my high degree of science geekiness, I tend to write fantasy). I co-opted my wife's maiden name for my fiction, so I write under the name B.D. Gallagher.

I live near Seattle with my beautiful wife, my two sons, three cats, and a beagle with only a tenuous grasp on sanity.
